1. The service

TinyVid (tinyvid.dev) converts video files into web-optimized formats and, on the Hosted plan, stores and serves them through a CDN. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Free and one-time conversions

Files up to 200 MB convert for free, no account required. Larger files (up to the 4 GB hard ceiling) require a one-time PayPal payment priced by file size. Uploaded sources and converted results are temporary: download links live for 24 hours, after which all files are deleted automatically. Every one-time payment is covered by a 100% money-back guarantee — email us and we refund it, no questions asked.

3. Hosted plan

The Hosted plan ($4.99/month, billed via PayPal subscription) includes up to 10 videos per account, conversion of any size up to 4 GB, storage and CDN delivery. Fair use: up to ~1 TB of traffic per account per month. If your videos exceed that, their delivery is paused until the next calendar month — storage is unaffected and serving resumes automatically.

4. Billing, failed payments and pauses

Subscriptions are paid in advance. If a renewal payment fails, you keep full service for a 7-day grace period while PayPal retries the charge. If payment still hasn't arrived after the grace period, your embeds switch to a "video paused" placeholder. We keep your video files for 30 more days; if the subscription is paid within that window everything resumes automatically, otherwise the files are permanently deleted.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. The current billing period is already paid, so your videos keep playing until the period ends. After that, embeds show the placeholder and your files follow the same 30-day retention before deletion. No partial refunds for the remainder of a billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You must own the rights to the content you upload. Illegal content, malware distribution and using TinyVid as a general purpose file CDN are prohibited. We may pause or remove content that violates these rules and may suspend abusive accounts.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Keep your own copies of source files — temporary conversion storage is not a backup service.
